1) HOW DOES THE AUTO GEAR SHIFT WORK?

  • The Auto Gear Shift (AGS) technology in Maruti Suzuki Swift consists of an Electronic Controller Unit that operates the Intelligent Shift Control Actuator. This setup takes care of gear and clutch operation for seamless automatic gear shifts.

2) DOES THE AGS WORK WELL IN CASE OF SUDDEN ACCELERATION?

  • Swift AGS comes with Kick-Down function that automatically lowers the gear to achieve better acceleration on the basis of the driver’s input.

3) HOW FUEL-EFFICIENT IS THE SWIFT AGS?

  • The refined driving performance of the BS6 petrol engine coupled with the convenience offered by Auto Gear Shift in Swift Petrol (AGS) helps deliver an excellent fuel efficiency of 23.76 Km/l*.
